Beth took me on a hike to Deers Leap ~ we were gone for 3 1/2 hours and covered a lot of terrain, much of it "unchartered" but did not make it to Deers Leap...maybe next time.
Even after a week in the car, Ollie is ready for a road trip!
Clearly Rocket & Whidbey are managing the new environment just fine. They are getting lots of exercise and appreciate the freedom.
Tuesday ~ September 14th
I've been doing daily hikes to 'The Ledges" over the town of Bristol, VT. This is looking West toward NY state, Lake Champlain is in the distance. The ridge with a slope in the near center is called Snake Mountain - Beth and I are planning a hike there soon.
Monday ~ After over 600 miles on Monday and a stop in Mattydale, NY (suburb of Syracuse) to visit with Carol’s parents I arrived…..it truly is "Almost Home!"
